Business After Hours
After Hours are a great way to promote your network with local business leaders. The Chamber will promote the event through their Facebook page and website and they provide food and beverages for the attendees. The cost of a sponsorship is $500 and covers the cost of event space and catering. In return, sponsors are given a 10′ x 10′ booth to decorate. In addition, they must provide a $50 door prize that is provided by their business.

Chamber member venues

Chamber member sponsors

The Fredericton Chamber, on the other hand, doesn’t host a Business After Hours in January. Instead, they host a chamber open house in its spot. They offered free food and drinks and it was so popular in its first year that it’s already on the schedule
Some chambers throw a member appreciation picnic or lunch instead. The Oro-Medonte Chamber does, for instance, and they make it a family event. Members bring their children and spouses and they all enjoy the August day.
Marcia Gaedcke shared that the Titusville Chamber of Commerce hosts their event as a “Holiday Open House. Over 175 come through the doors in the two hours we stay open. My budget is only $750 for the event, and we have lots of hors d’oeuvres and a bar with beer, wine, sodas, etc. I make one signature cocktail as well. Our folks love it
